The city centre of Amstelveen
The “Stadshart” Amstelveen is a complex that gathers 2 interconnected shopping malls, making it a quite large shopping area when compared to most of the shopping areas in the Netherlands. It also features restaurants, a library with its own book shop and café, a theatre/concert hall, a movie theatre and a language school (Volksuniversiteit), all in the same area.
It’s got all you need in terms of shops: shoes, clothing, cosmetics, decoration, optic, jewelry, health and care products, electronics and so on. Some of the Dutch’s favourite brands are well represented, like Hema, Blokker, Kruidvat, Etos, Douglas, Claudia Strater and Expresso, among others.
